GFCS Chapel Team Class

All Chapel Team students are required to enroll in the Chapel Team Class which provides a high-quality, Christ-centered leadership experience for students. All students rely on a class structure to develop their talents into dependable skills that will enable them to lead worship for the rest of their lives.

RockPrep is a service provider that only exists through an elective fee structure for all classes and lessons.

The Chapel Team Class exists to help students develop:

Leadership development:

  • World-class training in Christian leadership, character, and conduct—helping students learn how to lead as Christ-followers on stage, at home, at school, at church, and in the community.

Worship and ministry training:

  • Mentorship in worship leading, building a team and being a contributing team member, as well as fostering spiritual maturity and in how to use their musical gifts to point others to Jesus, not just perform.

Peer Mentorship training:

  • Learning how to pass on what you have learned and who you are is core to discipleship and disciple making. Jam sessions and All-Studio events are designed to help students discover and grow in the skill of mentorship.

Instructional and web-based resources:

  • Access to professional quality charts (with riffs and player notes), worship planning tools, and online student resources that support both musical excellence and spiritual growth.

Program planning and oversight:

  • Professional quality audition tutorials and resources, worship team placement, weekly rehearsal (class), equipping of student-led chapels for the school year, ongoing worship leading mentoring, communication with families, coordination of off-campus events and Chapel planning with school staff.

Ongoing feedback and support:

  • Individual and group feedback to help students grow in skill, confidence, and Christ-like character.

Chapel Team is about far more than singing or playing on stage—it is a discipleship and leadership opportunity. Your investment through the Chapel Team Class directly supports a safe, intentional environment where students can grow as worshipers, leaders, and Christ-followers. This class has a proven track record of equipping the future worship leaders of Faith Christian and beyond!
